Debate on Mahmoud Ahmadinejad

In case anyone is interested in my latest attempt at reasoned discourse, check out the comments section of this post.

Excepting Ken's comments, I call it, "The Triumph of Rhetoric over Reason." It's not a pretty day for logic.

Neil Postman, author of Amusing Ourselves to Death, would be both proud and sad that his predictions have come true.

Oh come now, I raised some serious concerns, informed by years of studying communist political thought and history, which frankly YOU brushed aside as hard as I brushed aside my ignorance of Farsi.

That said, we appreciated your comments and have enjoyed the debate. Thanks for having the guts to be the odd man out.

Patrick, you made a great comment--and I did write that I agreed with you on some of your points. But, goshdarn it, Ken is just so incredibly good, he makes everyone else look like illiterate peasants :-)

Think of it this way: next to Jordan, even Pippen looked ordinary :-)
